Day of Coordination

This service is best suited to the bride who has overseen details of planning the wedding herself and now wishes to turn over all the final details and logistics of her big day to a professional. This package assists brides with the management and execution of the wedding day. From vendor confirmations, wedding timelines, decor setup, guest lists and logistics.

At Divine Design & Events, we work with many brides who have overseen the details of planning their wedding themselves. If this is you, you may have created a lot of DIY projects and worked closely with your family to create a wedding day that reflects your personality and style. With an amazing wedding planned, you need to turn over the final details and logistics of your big day to a day of coordinator. Felecia and our lead coordinators Miranda Stewart and Stevie Hall will meet with you and learn about your plans in order to coordinate all of your gorgeous wedding details so you can relax and enjoy every moment of your special day!

Services included, but not limited to the following:

before the wedding we will provide . . .
  • Up to two coordination meetings with you and your fiance to understand your vision including a venue walk-through
  • Vendor Confirmations of Contracted Services and Arrival Times
  • Vendor confirmations of contract details (deliveries, set-up times, any pick-ups or returns, etc.)
  • Meeting with reception venue coordinator and caterer to discuss wedding day itinerary
  • Development of a detailed wedding timeline, itinerary and floor plan for contracted vendors and bridal party
  • Wedding Rehearsal supervision and coordination
  • Detailed wedding day timeline created for vendors, bridal party, and family
  • Advice for wedding day etiquette and protocol
on the day of the wedding we will provide . . .
  • On-site coordination and supervision at the ceremony site and during the reception on the day of your wedding
  • Address any issues that may arise during on the Wedding Day
  • Set up and styling of ceremony and reception venue
  • Set up of personal ceremony and reception items
  • Supervision of all vendor delivery
  • Assist bride and wedding party in dressing room prior to ceremony
  • Organization and distribution of all personal wedding flowers
  • Behind the scene event management and troubleshooting, including our Wedding Day Emergency Kit
  • Coordination and timing of ushers, house party, attendants, bride and groom
  • Transport of personal items (and even flower arrangements) from the ceremony to the reception
  • Bustling of the wedding gown and arrangement of refreshments upon couple’s arrival to reception
  • Coordination of presentation of the bride and groom
  • Coordination of entertainment and all announcements of events (first dance, dances with family, champagne toasts, cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc.)
  • Supervision of bride and groom exit and passing out exit favors to guests
after the wedding we will provide . . .
  • Pickup and return of all personal items to the family at the end of the evening
  • Return of all rental items including cake boards, linens, furniture, easels, etc. for proper storage, return or pickup
  • Check up on Mr. and Mrs. upon returning from the honeymoon to answer any lingering questions

Weddings in excess of 250 guests may be subject to an additional fee of $500, ask for more details

“Rush Planning Up-charge” – Weddings with less than 3 months to plan may be assessed an additional fee of $100 per month of available planning time. Weddings with less than 6 weeks to plan will be assessed a $250 rush fee. You will be informed in advance if this would apply to your wedding.
